My Chocolate Biscuit Rocky Road

This recipe is an adapted version of my Aunt Margaret’s Chocolate Biscuit cake (hers is the amazing melt in your mouth kind). I tweeked it a few times but this is my final recipe and I’m happy out with it!

Recipe: 4oz margarine, 2 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup, 200g of chocolate (you must use the blue milk chocolate bar from lidl, it’s like the rule) 300g of biscuits, 150g malteasers (share bag is perf), 3 crunchies, handful of mini marshmallows.

Melt the margarine, syrup and chocolate (I always tend to need more chocolate than that though so always have extra incase you think it will be too dry).

Add the biscuits and leave to cool.

Then add the malteasers, marshmallows and (2 crunchies broken into pieces).

Put into a square or rectangular tin, depending on how deep you want the pieces- it works what ever way you want it to.  This is then where I melt a bit more chocolate and sprinkle the last Crunchie pieces over the top.
