Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
I adjusted this recipe slightly as they were so dry and kinda difficult to mould into actual cookies!
50 g Unsalted butter softened
100 g Light Muscovado sugar
1 Medium egg (I used 2)
125 g self raising flour
25 g Bournville Cocoa Powder (I used half of Bournville and half aero hot chocolate)
0.5 tsp bicarbonate of soda
50 g Bournville Chocolate chopped (I used Galaxy chocolate here)
1. Preheat oven to Gas 4, 180 C. Grease 2 baking sheets.
2. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Beat in the egg and then add the sieved flour, cocoa and bicarbonate, mix until smooth and stir in the chocolate pieces.
3. Place 10 spoonfuls onto the baking sheets, making sure they are well apart..
4. Bake for 15 minutes until well risen. Leave to firm up on the baking sheets and then remove to a wire rack to cool.
